Unbiased Advice   Professional Guidance Optimise Results

The Vendor Advocate process has been developed and refined over 10 years with a focus on evidence based research, resulting in effective strategies for maximising the proceeds from your property sale.

The principal of MCPA is Douglas McKinnon. Douglas recognised a gap in the property market for this service, understanding that it would offer significant benefits to a Vendor. He formalised the service, developed and refined its systems and protocols over a decade to become what it is today,Vendor Advocacy.

Douglas McKinnon is a Certified Practising Valuer, AAPI (Val & Econ), Certified Property Practitioner, MRICS (Member Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), MAICD (Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors), Licensed Estate Agent and Land Economist. His qualifications include a Diploma in Valuations (RMIT) and a Certificate in Business Studies (Real Estate).

Douglas’s extensive experience of 28 years in the property profession includes working for Jones Lang Wootton (now Jones Lang Laselle) and Baillieu Knight Frank (now Knight Frank).
He has occupied a number of senior positions involving valuations, strategic advice, leasing and sales in the Commercial, Industrial and Retail property categories. This affords him a highly regarded reputation as an authority in the commercial property industry.

MCPA’s experience in commercial property means it is qualified to navigate this often complex segment of the real estate market. It “speaks the language” of commercial property and negotiates with real estate agents with experience-based authority.

If required, we can co-ordinate relevant advisers such as Town Planners, Accountants, Valuers, Solicitors, Surveyors, Tradespeople and other Consultants.
